Born in Vouziers, France, in 1986. He lives and works in Brussels, Belgium.
The artist seeks to extract unused qualities or hidden properties from the objects that sustain our lives. The active mixtures he makes are confronted and take shape in precarious and unstable balances. Bypassing functions and disorganising know-how are research that requires him to adopt a distanced perspective. Dust or pollen, spare parts from printers or freezers are used to create hybrid installations, often balancing on the edge of a technique. His creations frequently recreate micro-phenomena or microcosms.
Graduated with a DNESP, with congratulations from the jury, from the École nationale supérieure d’art de la Villa Arson (Nice) in 2011.
Winner of the EMERIGE Revelations Prize in 2014.
