On the occasion of its 25th Anniversary, the CCC offers an original device. A series of exhibitions is hosted in mobile housing modules designed by Alix Héaume and Adrien Robain of the rh+architecture agency. These are installed at the CCC for 365 days, during which about twenty artists come to «live» in turn these unusual and sculptural spaces. Their dimensions are small, their organic and cavernous forms, devoid of any flat surface are the opposite of the neutrality of the «white cube» which takes the place of standard in terms of exhibition space.
Home Sweet Home questions how art creates its own space within the museum. RH+ housing modules are an intermediary between the space imposed by the museum and that of the house.
Home Sweet Home establishes a dialogue between the artist and the curator that allows to focus around a unique project and a space on a human scale. This fundamental exchange at the heart of the artistic process reflects what the CCC has always favoured for 25 years.
