confluences

The atelier baldinger-vu-huu is taking over the transparent galleries with its “Confluences” exhibition. This invitation is an opportunity for the cccod to highlight the graphic design and typography studio that has been working with it for over five years. led by the Swiss-German duo André Baldinger and Toan Vu-Huu, the atelier b-v-h is the creator of the art centre’s visual identity and its “cccod” typography. This typography, created as part of the 1% artistic contribution, resonates with the geometric purity and hollowing-out effects that characterise the building by architects Aires Mateus.

In the transparent galleries, André Baldinger and Toan Vu-Huu are presenting a brand new set of large-format posters, in which they explore the notion of dialogue that lies at the heart of their creative process.
How do these two energies coexist and communicate? What contrasts and convergences give rise to the visual language that the two designers invent together?
